when I first got in the water I was very shy and uncomfortable like everyone else.I wasn’t used to being surrounded by so many people. I stayed in level 1 for a while before I moved to level 2. During that time I mostly practiced my breathing technique. We swam until it got too cold.
In level 1 I practiced breathing by having my head under water and breathing out through my nose. We also practiced streaming across the pool which helped out swimming technique . We practiced going under water to look for objects. I learned how to float properly on my back . I also stopped being scared to go underwater.
I didn’t swim often because I would get sick easily. I tried the best I could to learn from the times I was in the pool. I did learn how to swim better in general but I still need to learn some things. I didn’t have a bad experience swimming and I would do it again. I didn’t have many problems when I was learning in the pool.
I appreciate the effort that Ms.Longi put In to teach us. I had a fun time swimming and I hope that others enjoy it as much.
